EBA CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT TINUBU ON VICTORY AT SUPREME COURT

The State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Cross River State, Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq has congratulated President Ahmed Bola Tinubu on his landmark victory at the Supreme Court on Thursday.
Welcoming the apex court’s verdict as a healthy development, Eba said in a statement circulated by his Media wing, the PlugMedia, that democracy through the matra of renewed hope has come to stay.
The foremost Political Evangelist, commended the Justice John Inyang Okoro-led panel of the Supreme Court for the right judgement, adding that the judgement of the court was a victory for the nation’s democracy and a reaffirmation of the responsibility of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to act as an unbiased umpire.
“I welcome the judgement of the Supreme Court of Nigeria sitting in Abuja on the Presidential Election Petition brought before it with immense joy and appreciation to the judiciary for doing justice on the matter.
“This ruling has once again reaffirmed the powers and responsibility of INEC to act as an unbiased umpire, especially in dealing with the issues of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) and iRev in checking over-voting and non-compliance with the Electoral Act.
“I must commend the courage and sagacity exhibited by the panel of the Supreme Court, which ruled that the petitioners failed to prove their allegation and substantial non-compliance.
“On behalf of my family, Political associates and the entire members of Cross River State All Progressives Congress, I congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on this reassuring victory.
“This victory is coming at a time when Nigerians have embraced the Renewed Hope of Mr. President which they rightly voted for in the just-concluded General Elections.
